VII FUNDACIÓN SEPI ESSAY PRIZE

INVESTIGACIONES ECONÓMICAS is pleased to announce that the Fundación SEPI Essay Prize for the best paper on the Spanish economy published in the journal in 2008 and 2009 has been awarded to:

J. Ignacio García Pérez y Yolanda F. Rebollo Sanz "The use of permanent contracts across Spanish regions: Do regional wage subsidies work?" INVESTIGACIONES ECONÓMICAS, XXXIII (1), 2009, 97-130.

The Fundación SEPI, by launching this initiative, wishes to encourage authors to submit high-quality papers on the Spanish economy to INVESTIGACIONES ECONÓMICAS. The Prize is awarded every two years and it is endowed with 1.000 euros. The awarded article is selected by a committee nominated by the Directors and the President of the Editorial Board of the journal, and presided by the latter. In its sixth edition, the selection committee was formed by Professors Jordi Caballé y Claudio Michelacci and David Pérez Castrillo.
